sa******:

So I found an Asian channel that makes knifes out of random stuff...

Cool!

You guys have far too much patience

PB*************:

I would so love to be able to try this with my high school jewelry/metal arts high school students but not sure making a knife is something the principal or the school district would like me doing. Hahaha! I may just try it myself in the studio though. Hahaha

mu**********:
This guy is the most dangerous youtuber in the world. He can turn
anything into a sharp knife. If you're not careful you might get turned
into a knife too.

cl*****:
This one actually makes sense, at least aluminium is a metal haha
Love these videos, keep it up

Da***********:

Даже не верится, что сливки шоу всë под чистую скопировал.

zr*********:
Só com o que vai gastar com as pedras de afiar e o trampo pra fazer é melhor comprar um estoque de faca pra quando uma perder o corte , jogar fora e pegar a outra

RE********:

yu********:
My favourite part of these videos are the cows

Cd******:
What blows me away is this guys patience. In a world of technology and instant gratification he does everything completely by hand. Truly fascinating and honestly inspiring from an American’s perspective

Bu***:
I love how other videos do some weird crazy chemistry stuff I can never keep track of, and then this one is just "hammer that foil roll into a thin brick"

Yo*****:
後にこの世ではアルミホイルで鉄球を作るのが流行りとなったのであった

BR********:

Why would 10k dislike this video? Informative, entertaining, & inspiring.

Ph**********:

Person: hands Kiwami literally anything
Kiwami: “this is a knife”
“No it’s not”
“Hold my cow and my other million knives and watch”

Gh**********:

Coming here from future videos, it's amazing how straightforward his knife making used to be.

ch*******:

That one English person scrolling through the comments like

Do*****:

For the English-speaking viewers, what he's doing at the beginning with the hammer is called work-hardening or cold-forging. Aluminum foil, especially in a nearly pure form, is very soft. Soft materials hold edges worse than harder ones. But it can be made to be harder by repeated blows with a hammer. It's very similar to if you take a piece of wire and bend it back and forth until it breaks in the center. When you were bending it, you were cold-forging the wire. The same applies here.

So that's why when he has the aluminum plate, it's suddenly much harder than the aluminum foil you buy at the grocery store!
